통계 하나를 찾으려고 국가통계포털에 들어가면 먼저 막히는 게 있어요. 어느 통계표에 있는지 모른다는 거요. 주제를 따라 폴더를 몇 번 열고, 표를 찾으면 다시 지역·연령·기간을 골라야 하죠.
VORA에 국가통계 검색 도구가 새로 추가됐어요. 표 이름을 몰라도 그냥 물어보면 돼요.
국가통계포털의 공식 통계를 그대로
이 도구는 KOSIS 국가통계포털의 공식 통계표를 찾아 수치를 가져와요. 인구·출생과 사망, 고용, 물가, 산업, 지역·사회 지표처럼 국가 통계 전반을 다뤄요.
통계표 번호나 항목 코드는 몰라도 돼요. 원하는 내용을 말로 설명하면, 도구가 맞는 표를 찾고 그 표에서 실제로 제공되는 기간과 항목을 확인한 뒤 값을 가져와요. 통계 설명이 있으면 정의와 작성 방법도 함께 볼 수 있어요.

지역 비교 — "서울·경기·부산 인구를 같은 표에서 최근 3개년 비교해줘. 기준 연도·단위·출처도 함께"

표마다 주기가 달라요. 연·분기·월·반기 등 표에 따라 다르니, 지역이나 연령을 비교할 때는 같은 표·주기·단위로 맞춰주세요.

결측값은 0이 아니에요. 자료가 없는 칸은 그대로 표시하고, 0으로 바꿔 계산하지 않아요.
•
조회 시점과 통계 기준 시점은 달라요. 인용할 때는 표 이름·작성기관·단위·기준 시점을 함께 남겨주세요.
•
범위가 너무 넓으면 나눠서 요청해주세요. 지역·항목·기간을 한꺼번에 고르면 조회 한도를 넘을 수 있어요.

Looking up a single figure on Korea's statistics portal starts with one obstacle: you don't know which table it's in. You open folder after folder by topic, then pick the region, age group and period once you finally find it.
VORA has a new tool: National Statistics Search. You don't need the table name — just ask.
Official statistics straight from KOSIS
This tool finds official tables on KOSIS, Korea's national statistics portal, and retrieves the figures. It covers population, births and deaths, employment, prices, industry, and regional and social indicators.
You don't need table numbers or item codes. Describe what you're after, and the tool finds a matching table, checks the periods and items it actually offers, then pulls the values. Where an explanation exists, you can see the definition and how the figure is compiled too.
How to ask
Include the indicator, any breakdown such as region, age or sex, the period, and how you want it laid out.

Regional comparison — "Compare Seoul, Gyeonggi and Busan populations for the latest three available years in the same table, with reference years, units and sources"

Latest figure — "Retrieve the latest monthly employment rate for Korea with age group, sex, reference month and unit"
•
Explanations — "Find the total fertility rate table and summarize its definition, available periods and producing agency"
•
Browse by topic — "Browse population statistics by topic and find a table of population by age"
"Latest" means the last period published in that table — not necessarily this year or month. For several periods, give a range like "the latest three years."For economic and financial indicators such as rates, exchange rates and prices, Economic Statistics Search is the better fit. Use both and you can put social and economic figures side by side in one conversation.
A few things to know
•
Frequency differs by table — annual, quarterly, monthly, half-yearly. Compare regions or ages using the same table, frequency and unit.
•
Missing values aren't zero. Unavailable cells are kept as returned and never turned into zero.
•
Retrieval time isn't the reference period. When citing, keep the table title, producing agency, unit and reference period together.
•
Split very broad requests. Selecting every region, item and period at once can exceed the provider's query limit.

国家統計ポータルの公式統計をそのまま
このツールは、韓国の国家統計ポータルKOSISの公式統計表を探し、数値を取得します。人口・出生と死亡、雇用、物価、産業、地域・社会指標など、国の統計を幅広く扱います。
統計表の番号や項目コードを知らなくても大丈夫です。知りたい内容を言葉で伝えれば、ツールが合う表を探し、その表で実際に提供されている期間と項目を確かめてから値を取得します。統計の説明があれば、定義や作成方法もあわせて確認できます。

テーマから探す — 「人口統計をテーマ別に見て、年齢別人口の統計表を探して」
「最新」とは、その表で最後に公表された時点のことです。 今年や今月とは限りません。複数の時点が必要なら「直近3年分」のように範囲を書いてください。ご確認いただきたい点

表によって周期が異なります。 年・四半期・月・半期など。地域や年齢を比べるときは、同じ表・周期・単位にそろえてください。

欠測値はゼロではありません。 資料のないセルはそのまま表示し、ゼロに置き換えて計算しません。
•
照会時点と統計の基準時点は異なります。 引用するときは、表の名前・作成機関・単位・基準時点をあわせて残してください。
•
範囲が広すぎるときは分けて依頼してください。 地域・項目・期間をまとめて選ぶと、照会の上限を超えることがあります。
